Working through complexity means doing a few distinct things well: reading a messy situation clearly, finding what's actually stuck, bridging ideas across domains, and demystifying why something works.
Sensemaking
Before a problem is even well-defined, someone has to notice the pattern in scattered signals. We probe, sense, and respond — building the map before anyone walks the terrain.
Unblocking
Most systems aren't broken everywhere — they're stuck at one point. We find the actual constraint, not the obvious symptom, and clear it so the rest can move.
Bridging domains
An idea that works in one field is often exactly what another needs — it just hasn't been translated yet. We carry solutions across boundaries that usually keep people apart.
Demystifying
The right way to do something should be demonstrable, not declared. We stay away from rituals, gatekept expertise, and theories that can't be tested, and judge our work the same way anyone else could: by whether it actually holds up.
